Columbia City Bakery Bike Run
Things are starting to slow down leading into the holiday week, but that doesn't mean you have to. The Cascade Bicycle Club continues to lead regular bike runs throughout the city, with a particularly delicious route planned for today.
Thirty-four miles. Start off in Bellevue, then head toward Renton with a quick detour to Columbia City Bakery for a pastry recharge.

Northwest Harvest Food Donations
A season of giving, this month is called, meaning now is the time to show the people you love how much you love them through the act of exchanging of gifts. It's a fine gesture. But in an ideal world time would also be carved out to give to those who need it most, those you'll likely never meet.
Northwest Harvest provides a list of drop-in food donation sites throughout the city. These sites accept non-perishable food items for the homeless and others in need. Call ahead to make sure they are accepting donations at any given time.

Christmas DrugWar Vigil at King County Jail
For the 15th straight year, there will be a peaceful demonstration at the King County Jail in order to protest to the incarceration of citizens charged with non-violent drug violations.
Seattle Hempfest and The November Coalition want to bring awareness to the negative effects imprisonment has on the lives of otherwise law abiding citizens and their families, as well as protest the billions of tax dollars nationwide that go toward the processing and incarcerating of these non-violent inmates.
