Seattle's Wing Luke Museum asked U.S. Rep. Jim McDermott (D-WA, 7) to help promote their upcoming Bruce Lee exhibit.

And—enter the dragon:

The exhibit, which begins on October 4, will focus on Bruce Lee's time in Seattle and is the only authorized Lee exhibit outside of China.

McDermott, 77, filmed this promo today (in one take) at his district office, donning the iconic Lee jumpsuit from Lee's 1973 film Game of Death, says Rep. McDermott spokesman Jack D'Annibale. (McDermott is saying: "Do you know Bruce?"—the title of the Wing Luke exhibit.)

Uma Thurman donned the same suit (as a Lee homage) in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill in 2003.

This isn't the first time Rep. McDermott has wow-ed us on video. Last year around this time, he schooled Stephen Colbert on gay rights.
