PubliCalendar: The Blue Angels Bike Ride

By Sarah Gambles August 2, 2012

Tomorrow’s PubliCalendar picks for political nerds:

Cascade Bicycle Club's Blue Angels Ride

Bike lovers can join together to view the annual jet show after a medium-long ride with new friends. The ride starts at the South Bellevue Park and Ride and will circle Mercer Island, take a break for some grub, and then end up at Cascade member Bruce Zunser’s special rooftop deck built especially for the show.

It’s a steady ride at 12-14 mph with a few hills. Anyone looking for some fun outdoors and a bonding experience with other riders is welcome.

Blue Angels Ride, Friday, August 3, 10:30 am, South Bellevue Park and ride, 2700 Bellevue Way SE, Bellevue

And don't forget our PubliCola picks for today:

OneAmerica info forum for undocumented young immigrants.

The immigrant advocacy group OneAmerica is hosting a forum to answer questions about President Obama’s recent—frankly, badass—executive order that many undocumented youth would not be deported, and in fact, would be granted work permits.

The experts at OneAmerica will explain to “DREAMers” who’s eligible and how to apply.

OneAmerica Town Hall for Dreamers, Redmond Public Library, 15990 NE 85th St. 98052 6pm, Thursday, August 2
