Republican Attorney General Rob McKenna's adamant refusal to defend Democratic Lands Commissioner Peter Goldmark against an Okanogan County utility in a lands taking case is looking more and more political and partisan.

The law firm that is working on the case for the Okanogan utility, Foster Pepper, is holding a fundraiser for McKenna next Thursday.



 

 Earlier today, McKenna appealed a 7-2 state supreme court ruling that he was required to defend Goldmark in the case.
