Home Invasion Suspect Arrested Following Chase, Crash In North Seattle

Seattle Police Department robbery detectives arrested a suspect in a home invasion on Capitol Hill following a chase in North Seattle this afternoon. The invasion took place late last month .

According to Seattle police, patrol officers spotted the man driving a white sedan near NE 107th and 15th NE at about 1:30 p.m. when the suspect sped off.

Officers chased the suspect, who crashed into another vehicle and fled on foot.

The driver of the second vehicle was not injured, according to police.

Officers chased down the suspect and arrested him.

According to police sources, the suspect was allegedly involved in a home invasion at a Capitol Hill apartment on Minor Ave and E Union St.

The victim was letting a female guest into his apartment, when two men burst through the door, brandishing guns.

The suspects demanded to know "where the money was" and ransacked the man's apartment, a police report says.

The suspects took $235, a cell phone, an EBT card, and 5 debit and credit cards from the victim.
