Erica and I will be moderating a CityClub discussion at the Downtown Library tomorrow night, August 4.
Before we get down to the tunnel debate—featuring Downtown Seattle President Kate Joncas (yay tunnel) and Seattle City Council Member Mike O'Brien (nay tunnel), we'll begin the evening with a related discussion about the initiative process.
We'll have initiative champion (or rogue, depending on your point of view) Tim Eyman and longtime Eyman rival, state Sen. Adam Kline (D-37, Seattle). Up for discussion: Is the initiative process working?
