PubliCalendar Picks: The Capitol Hill Block Party, Of Course
The Head and the Heart

City Arts named this indie act "Seattle's Best New Band." After re-releasing their debut album on Sub Pop in April, THATH climbed the charts, making a TV debut on Conan and landing a spot at Austin City Limits. Without a doubt this band is going to blow up. I would see them while you can.
Ghostland Observatory

This Austin, Texas duo combines rock, electro, and funk, and they've been on a rock, electro, funk tear ever since their first full-length album "delete.delete.i.eat.meat" came out in 2005—lighting up Coachella, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, and the Voodoo Experience.
Sol

Sol is a recent UW grad, and considered "Seattle's Prince." His third EP "Dear Friends, Vol. III" features the latest single "This Shit," a song with the perfect hip hop groove for summer. His live shows are great, as his charm and swag glow on stage.
