Gov. Chris Gregoire's senior adviser Marty Loesch will replace Jay Manning, who announced late last month that he's leaving his position as Gregoire's chief of staff.

Before becoming Gregoire's senior adviser, Loesch, who will start his new gig next week, was the inter-governmental affairs director and tribal attorney for the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community.
