Tonight
PubliCalendar Picks: Questions for the Candidates
According to an excited email I got from the host of tonight's 36th District Democrats candidate forum, former district chair Jason Bennett, tonight's candidate forum is the place to be.
And I quote: "Tonight's candidate forum promises to be heated. The questions are fierce."
The forum only focuses on Positions 1 and 3, but let's face it: Position 1 is the hottest race right now. The incumbent, Jean Godden, is battling it out with three opponents, and one, Bobby Forch, beat Godden out last night for the 37th District endorsement.
Position 3 is also an interesting one: Brad Meacham, a former Seattle Times business writer and Seattle Municipal League director, is an anti-tunnel guy, while incumbent Bruce Harrell supports the project.
