Over at the Washington State Wire, Erik Smith has a man bites dog story: Recently-bounced state GOP Chair Luke Esser has a new gig lobbying for the lefty home care workers union, SEIU 775.

SEIU is one of the power players in the Democratic Party—one of the key players in the so-called revenue coaltion, a group of low-income, health care, education, and environmental advocates who are lobbying the legislature to close corporate tax breaks and raise revenue along with budget cuts.  (SEIU did endorse Esser when he was a state senator).
