Connelly reports that Washington State Democratic Party Chair Dwight Pelz got a $10,000 raise, taking his salary to $113,000.
Why a raise during the Great Recession? "Good performance in '10 and a big year coming up in '12," Pelz said Wednesday. "We have a trifecta coming up in this state -- President, Governor, U.S. Senator and a new seat in Congress."

He'll also be going up against new GOP state chair, Kirby Wilbur. We've got a call in to the GOP to see how much Wilbur is making.
