The Olympian: Republicans Name Gorton to Redistricting Committee
State senate Repbulicans chose former U.S. Sen. Slade Gorton to do their bidding on the five-member redistricting panel.
The house Republicans chose Tom Huff, a former state budget staffer.
The Democrats already chose their pair— former Seattle deputy mayor Tim Cies and former Booth Gardner staffer Dean Foster. The four will choose a non-partisan (traditionally academic type as the coordinating fifth member.)
The Olympian has the story, and this funny quote from Huff.
