Over at Slog, Eli Sanders has been doing nonstop, breathlessly tongue-in-cheek coverage of the race for King County Democratic Central Committee male representative from the 43rd Legislative District (there's also one female representative), in which two prolific commenters, Will Affleck-Ash and Michael Maddux, squared off last night.

I was at the 43rd District meeting to cover the race for district chair (I've ceded the KCDCC 43rd District male representative race to Eli, fascinating though it was) so I took off around 8:00, before the Maddux-Affleck-Ash showdown began. On Slog today, Eli reports that in the end, it was no contest: Maddux beat Affleck-Ash by a vote of 30 to 15. And Scott Forbes won the chairmanship.
