Seattle Times: City Council Member Jean Godden Draws Opponent
The Seattle Times reports
that a local architect named David Schraer has filed to run against Seattle City Council Member Jean Godden. (Schraer owns his own firm, In Plain Air Architects & Planners.)
It seems like Mayor Mike McGinn is the person at city hall that Schraer is really worked up about, though, calling him a "boomer-centric date-expired yuppie and mid-life environmentalist" in an angry blog post last summer.
An earlier Schraer blog post, his blog is called Light and Air, was titled "Boycott the Space Needle."
Schraer ran current Washington Bus Director Thomas Goldstein's failed city council campaign in 1997.
