Afternoon Fizz: 37th District Rep Pulled Over for Driving Without License, Valid Plates
State Rep. Eric Pettigrew (D-37, S. Seattle) is pulled over for driving without a license or valid plates.
Compared to his fellow 37th District Democratic state Rep Sharon Tomiko-Santos' DUI arrest last year, this is pretty tame stuff, but Seattle Municipal Court records show that Democratic state Rep. Eric Pettigrew got pulled over on his way to Olympia yesterday morning and was ticketed for driving without valid plates or a valid license---violations that, taken together, could add up to $670.
Rep. Pettigrew was leaving his home in Seattle to head down to Olympia for a leadership meeting (he's the new Democratic caucus chair now) when he was pulled over and cited.
Pettigrew has not yet returned a call for comment.
