A new study by The Street shows that Seattle drivers have some of the "worst commutes in America," based on how much they spend on their cars and gas each month, how far they drive each day, and how many drivers there are at the morning and evening rush hour. The study found that Seattle drivers spend, on average, $434 a month on driving expenses, and that the city comes in 78th on a list of 90 cities ranked from best to worst---ahead of cities like Houston and LA, but far behind other Northwest cities, including first-place finisher Eugene, OR, sixth-place finisher Spokane, WA, and 42nd-place finisher Portland, OR.
