The California Supreme Court unamiously rejected a lawsuit today urging them to block implimentation of  the recent state proposition calling for a top-two primary modeled after Washington state's own top-two system.

Washington State has been going with a top-two system for the last three years after a citizens' initiative, I-872 passed six years ago and withstood a challenge from both the Democratic and Republican parties all the way up to the U.S. Supreme Court.
