Extra Fizz: Printing Shop No Longer Seeking Lobbyist
The state's printing shop---which, as we noted earlier this month, has been threatened with closure in response to the state's budget shortfall---has canceled its solicitation for a lobbyist, according to a notice issued today.
State Sen. Rodney Tom (D-48) declared himself "very offended" by the printing shop's effort to pay for a lobbyist. Tom told The Ledge's Austin Jenkins that he planned to re-introduce legislation to eliminate the printing shop in the upcoming session.
