Extra Fizz: "I Canceled It."

Facing a $10 billion deficit, New Jersey Republican Governor Chris Christie canceled a major tunnel project this year.

Similar to the Alaskan Way deep-bore tunnel, the rail tunnel from New Jersey into Manhattan was seen as a shovel-ready stimulus mega-project that would have created much-needed construction jobs.

"I canceled it. I mean, listen, the bottom line is I don't have the money. And you know what? I can't pay people for those jobs if I don't have the money to pay them. Where am I getting the money? I don't have it. I literally don't have it."
