Afternoon Fizz: Yelling Guy Threatens to Show Up at Election HQ With Guns
A man yelling that Obama was out to get him called the Tukwila Police Department on Saturday and threatened to show up to King County Elections headquarters in Renton, the county elections department confirms. The police showed up at elections headquarters just in case the man showed, elections spokeswoman Kim van Eckstrom says.
"There was a call made to the police department by a man saying he intended to show up, but nobody ever came here" except police officers, van Eckstrom says. The Tukwila police department has not yet returned messages asking whether they made an arrest or followed up with the caller in any way.
