A TV ad from the Mike Heavey campaign hits his opponent in the race for 34th District house rep, 24-year-old Joe Fitzgibbon, for "having no real world work experience." The ad opens with an image of a little kid taking a spill on a tricycle.
Before running for office, Fitzgibbon was a legislative aide to the current incumbent in the 34th, state Rep. Sharon Nelson. He's also on the Burien planning commission.
Heavey, 30, worked in the fraud department at Expedia.com and currently works as an aide to King County Council Member Jan Drago.
