The Civil Rights Issue of Our Time
This morning we reported on U.S. House Majority Leader Rep. Steny Hoyer's (D-MD) stop in Seattle, where he was campaigning for Democratic House candidates Suzan DelBene and Denny Heck.
Our take: Hoyer is worried about apathetic Democratic voters facing off against fired up Republicans, but his GOTV pitch wasn't incredibly compelling. (Re: the Great Recession: "We have not yet had succes" but the Republicans caused this mess.) Um. Okay.
However, we were pretty bowled over by Heck.
