Three weeks ago (!), I asked Dan Bertolet (aka HugeassCity) to write a review of the new Arcade Fire album. It's not just that Dan has music cred (he looks like David Byrne and used to be in Sonic Youth or something), but the whole Suburbs theme (the album is called The Suburbs) seemed like it merited some thinking-cap-action from our resident car hater.

Bertolet copped out on the assignment and then (the nerve!) sent me an opinion piece that ran in yesterday's  New York Times by some real estate wonks about urban vs. suburban realignment.
