That Washington
Ron Paul Endorses Koster
Libertarian patron saint Ron Paul endorsed John Koster for the US House of Representatives on primary night, a fact that seems to have been lost on the press. As far as we can tell, not a single news outlet has picked up the story; we only found out through Koster's campaign website and a call in to Paul's offices.
Koster, a Tea Party favorite who also garnered an endorsement from Sarah Palin, is in a tight race—so far he's ahead of incumbent Democratic U.S. Rep. Rick Larsen (D-WA, 2) by 160 votes in the primary Paul's thumbs-up just adds to Koster's anti-establishment momentum.
Not all Republicans are impressed with a Paul endorsement, though. When Clint Didier got Paul's endorsement in the primary, Dino Rossi's campaign scofffed the race would be "decided by Washingtonians, not out of state endorsements."
