A Small Mistake in the PI Could Foreshadow Big Problems for DelBene
This is funny. In the PI.com's interview with Suzan DelBene, the Democrat who's challenging incumbent U.S. Rep. Dave Reichert (R-WA, 8), they mistakenly call her Darcy Burner (the most recent female Microsoft exec to take on Reichert).
Check out the first sentence of the third paragraph:
What makes it doubly funny is that the PI's lead is all about how DelBene needs to differentiate herself from Burner.
As we've noted, DelBene is a different kind of Democrat—
—and the PI pretty much makes the same point in their lead. Unfortunately for DelBene, it's a point that seems to get lost.

Whereas Reichert’s opponent in his last two races, Darcy Burner, ran as an anti-war, Netroots lefty, his challenger this time, former Microsoft exec Suzan DelBene, is a buttoned-down entrepreneur whose top contributor is Microsoft, not ActBlue.
