2. The P-I covered a poll conducted by SurveyUSA and KING5: Murray has a slim lead over Rossi .
3. At The Everett Herald's Petri Dish blog, Jerry Cornfield covered a story about an odd poll for Republican John Koster, who's running for Congress against Rick Larsen (D-WA, 2). One highlight: The pollster phoned Congressman Rick Larsen, identified Larsen as a Republican, and the results put Koster ahead.

Maria Cantwell will support the Financial Reform Bill , despite voting against it earlier this year (and outlining serious reservations—and prerequisites that were never met—to PubliCola when the bill first came up.)
