According to her campaign, U.S. Sen. Patty Murray raised $280,000 at her annual Golden Tennis Shoe Awards last Friday at Seattle Center where U.S. Sen. Ted Kennedy's widow Victoria Kennedy spoke. 1,100 people attended the event.



The most recent federal campaign finance reports (through March), have Sen. Murray with $5.9 million cash on hand.
