Rossi: Past, Present, and Future.

Dino Rossi on the campaign trail ... in 2004.

I covered both of Dino Rossi's previous campaigns in 2004 and 2008. It was pretty hot-and-heavy partisan stuff because I was writing for the Stranger
(where I was news editor for nearly 10 years) and for David Goldstein's site (where I did some freelancing before starting PubliCola).

Don't expect such partisan stuff from me at PubliCola. Critical, yes, but I find rah rah lockstep Democratic Party reporting pretty boring in a dark blue city like Seattle.

However, there is Dan Bertolet—our very opinionated eco-urban columnist.

He has also written about Rossi over the years. Pretty searing. And, I don't expect him to be watering it down much—especially given that we learned today in Rossi's announcement speech: Rossi doesn't seem to support  cap and trade (which Republican U.S. Rep. Dave Reichert voted for
, btw.)

Here are Bertolet's Rossi posts, published back in his HugeassCity days: "The Eco-Fascist Liberals are Coming to Take Your Cars Away!" and "Busted for Making Shit Up."
