Last Night
Last night, after drinks at Grey and drowsing (drunk and browsing) at the new Elliott Bay book store, I saw a bill of bands at the nearby Healthy Times Fun Club.
It was Brain Fruit with their Beethoven html; a great solo act, S. Funkee, with his make-believe post-modern Beastie Boys stand-up act; and a captivating rap rock band (all the way from Baltimore) Height with Friends.
And headlining at midnight, the cocky and excellent Thee Satisfaction with a new batch of tom-tom computer beats.
