Eyman Loans His Initiative Campaign $50,000
Yesterday, we noted that anti-tax activist Tim Eyman had yet to get a check from his main funder, retired financial adviser Mark Dunmire.
The new campaign finance reports are in today and Dunmire is still MIA.
Eyman himself loaned the campaign $50,000 last month—$30,000 on April 24 and $20,000 on April 29. Another notable donor? Kemper Freeman, who donated $5,000 in mid April.
The campaign has spent $80,000 on professional signature gathering to Citizen Solutions.
The initiative committee—Voters Want More Choices, Save the 2/3rds Vote for Tax Increases—has raised a total of $162,000 with $62,000 on hand.
