Bicyclist Hit, Seriously Injured In West Seattle

West Seattle Blog has the scoop and continues to update with further information about the crash.

WSB reports that, around 8:30 am, a 35-40-year-old man was hit by an SUV while riding up Admiral Way near the West Seattle Bridge, possibly while making a left turn. The bicyclist was trapped under the vehicle until rescuers arrived. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center where he is reported to be in "serious condition" and headed to intensive care. The driver was uninjured.

SFD Battalion Chief Phil Jose described the bicyclist's condition as "relatively stable" at the scene of the accident.
