I've been saving this one all week.

At Tuesday night's 34th district candidate forum in Burien, the event host John Carlson asked the State House candidates if they would support a law similar to the new immigration rule in Arizona that allows police to demand proof of citizenship from anyone who looks suspicious, ie Hispanic.

34th hopeful Mike Heavey weighed in with this sharp assessment:

"All I know is, all the Nazi movies start with 'show me your papers.'"
