PubliCola Adds Life

On PubliCola Today

By Erica C. Barnett April 14, 2010

Sorry things have been a little slow around here today (Josh has me doing some research at the Public Disclosure Commissions's straight-outta-1995 web site, so I'll probably wrap up this campaign finance post I'm working on, oh, sometime tomorrow morning), but not to fear: We've got posts coming tonight from West Seattle, the governor's interview at KCTS, and a video from Camden. Meanwhile, here's what was on the Cola today:

1. Morning Fizz!

2. Your daily PubliCalendar for tonight and tomorrow.

3. Our ongoing contest: Come up with the Lusty Lady's final marquee, win fabulous prizes!

4. Beloved Southeast Seattle institution saved.

5. It's not too late to come to tonight's 34th District Democrats candidate forum in West Seattle.

6. After freezing city salaries, Mayor McGinn got a raise.

7. Things look grim at the county, where public safety could face 12 percent cuts next year.

8. BikeNerd on the city's insufficient planning for cyclists in SoDo.

9. If I finish this post on time, I'll be live-tweeting the governor's interview with KCTS starting at 7.

10. Dino Rossi wants you to send money to conservative think tank, Washington Policy Center.
