Muni League Looking for King County Candidate Evaluators
The Municipal League of King County is looking for volunteers to investigate and evaluate potential candidates for the upcoming County election. (The Muni League rates candidates based on skills and experience, not on politics.)
We figured this sort of nerdy gig would be perfect for Cola readers (ye who comment on posts about 520, tax reform, and environmental impact statements.)
The Muni League will host events through May where you can find out more about being a volunteer. Here are the details:
South King County- April 22, 6 p.m. at Vince's Pizza, 2815 Sunset Blvd NE, Renton, WA 98056
North Seattle- April 26, 12:30 p.m., University of Washington's William H. Gates Hall (the Law School building), room 207
East King County- May 6th, 6 p.m., Purple Wine Bar, 430 106th Ave. NE, Bellevue, WA 98004
South King County- May 16th, 6 p.m., Federal Way City Hall Council Chambers, 33325 8th Ave. S, Federal Way, WA 98004
