Superintendent of Public Instruction Randy Dorn arrested, cited with alleged drunk driving
As Melissa Santos of the Tacoma News Tribune reported this morning, State Superintendent of Public Instruction Randy Dorn was arrested at 1:30 a.m. Sunday in Orting under suspicion of driving under the influence.
He was not booked into Pierce County Jail, and hasn't been charged. The prosecutor has yet to review any details, but Dorn was cited with "alleged drunk driving."
Dorn has been an aggressive education reform advocate since getting elected in 2008.
