Anybody who's been following me on PubliCola for a while will know that I'm a huge fan of Wim Wenders' Wings of Desire.  It's one of the best portraits of a city ever to hit the silver screen (see my review of it from last March here ).  I can't let a screening go by without mentioning it, so here you go:  Wings of Desire plays at Central Cinema through this Thursday at 6:30 and 9:30pm.

Insider tip:  If you leave the theater about fifteen minutes before the movie ends—as soon as the film turns to color—you will end up having seen a much, much better movie.
