12 Seahawks Food Tributes: From Clever to Ridiculous

We are the 12th Mango.

By Rosin Saez January 28, 2015

Seahawks fervor is in full swing. Think: Etsy fails, Metro bus routes to "Go Seahawks!", and local celebrity wagering. But the fandom does not stop there—12s all over Seattle are supporting Super Bowl–bound Hawks via all kinds of food. Decorative cupcakes and novelty Hawktails, sure. But also soda cans, latte art, onions, and liberal use of food coloring.

The 12th Mango

Slow clap for this pun and PCC Natural Markets' extraordinary level of 12th-ness.

Baristas sport these on game days. So what if they have to explain this to tourists?

This Latte Art Though

Way cooler than a heart, or even a foam cat face.

One of These Jugs of Water

Spotted at Metropolitan Market. (Thanks AK!)

Left: Gets picked last for sports. Right: Fuels victory and stages of enlightenment.

Grand Central's football-shaped 12th Man Peasant Levain. Available this weekend. Bonus: You can't deflate it.

Earl Thomas will know if you take a 12-pack from this display.

This Other Wall of Soda

Spotted at Safeway

Are his eyes made out of Mello Yello?

Russell Wilson in Beer Form

Though Russell Wilson spends much of his free time at Seattle Children's, presumably not boozing.

Marshawn Lynch Saying Words

 Behold, the power of Skittles.

Action Green Onion

Just some subtle produce signage that no one spent a lot of time doing probably.

This "WH12KY SOUR"

A whisky sour almost too beautiful to get tipsy off of. Almost.

12th Man Macarons

Parfait's delicate French macarons—airy meringue sandwiched around handmade mint ice cream—might be the daintiest-ever food tribute to a herculean team of Seahawks players.
