Sun Liquor's Bottle Shop
The distillery and bar now have a stylish adjacent bottle shop on Pike Street called, not surprisingly, "The Bottle Shop." It opened during Sun Liquor's five-year anniversary celebration. Stop by for a taste or grab a bottle of vodka or gin between 12-7pm Tuesday through Sunday.
East Anchor Seafood
Tuesday, Vendemmia's sibling seafood market and bar from chef/owner Brian Clevenger and partner Kayley Turkheimer opened in Madrona. The display case holds prawns, king salmon, and branzini, while there's a grocery component with prepared foods to go, freshly shucked oysters to eat with a glass of wine, and a few seafood and vegetable plates from Vendemmia next door.
The Asian grill and sushi bar opened in the Village at Beardslee Crossing with a plethora of sushi rolls and pan asian dishes from the wok.
Ravenna Brewing Company
April 15 is the planned opening day of the seven barrel, neighborhood brewery. Expect pints of the brewery's Lion Tamer bourbon vanilla porter, jalapeño kolsch, and the Bang It Out pale ale.
Rachel Yang and Seif Chirchi and Rachel Marshall expanding to Portland
The James Beard nominated couple and duo behind Revel, Joule, and Trove just announced they will be opening a Korean inspire restaurant in Portland's historic Salvation Army Building. Meanwhile, Rachel's Ginger Beer announced its own Portland plans in our sister publication.
Ba Bar in South Lake Union
Restauranteur Eric Banh just acquired the lease to the old Shanik location in South Lake Union, the Seattle Times reports. Plans include having 16 beers on tap and cocktails similiar to the 12th Avenue outpost, plus an early and later happy hour and a daily two-course dinner offering.
Molly Moon's Redmond
The much-loved ice creamery is heading to the former Redmond State Bank building on Cleveland Street, which has been made over with an open kitchen, wall mural, and an opening date of Friday, April 8. Doors open at 3pm that day, and kids 12 and younger can swing in for a free scoop of any flavor until 5pm.
Anthony's Home Port on Shilshole Bay
The chain restaurant that served the sunset special with a breathtaking view will close Sunday, March 27.
Calf and Kid from Melrose Market
Lack of parking and other fallout from neighboring construction has steered customers away, ultimately hurting multiple businesses in the specialty market, but owner of Calf and Kid, Sheri LaVigne, has made the executive decision to move the cheese shop to the new Culture Cheese Bar in May, where she will resume operations and sales.

Big things happening for the company that made Hawaiian curb cuisine a thing in Seattle: Mario Hevia, former executive sous chef at Canlis, is now the executive chef at Marination, overseeing culinary operations for all Marination locations and catering.
