Remember the series of Seattle icon–inspired ice cream flavors Full Tilt was making? Well it turns out the ice creamery's Wheedle on the Needle tribute is now the Space Needle's official ice cream. The orange ice cream with cherry chunks will be available on the week of April 21 for one week at all four of Full Tilt's stores—to coincide with the 54th anniversary of the Space Needle—and will become a permanent fixture on the SkyCity menu; Full Tilt's ice cream is even making its way into the restaurant's famous Lunar Orbiter dessert.
This isn't the only big move Full Tilt has planned for this year. The University District location is moving a couple of blocks up north from its current location in the coming months. The shop will upsize to a new space beside the Kraken Bar and Lounge on the Ave, adding a bar, more pinball games and of course, more quirky ice cream flavors to feed the crowd.
