The deals aren't just for shoppers: Restaurants downtown (plus a couple on Capitol Hill) are offering longer happy hours, a DJ, and two grand openings.
Mr. West Cafe Bar
This new downtown cafe, a sibling of Bottlehouse in Madrona, is celebrating its grand opening in the Eighth and Olive Building, where shoppers can start early with their daily dose of caffeine. Keep hunger at bay through breakfast, lunch, and late evening with sandwiches, salads, and platters of pickled fruits and vegetables. The drink list consists of a solid selection of wines, cider and beer, and cocktails ready for much-needed happy hour breaks.
Michael Mina's modern french restaurant on the corner of Fourth and Pike Street offers happy hour early today for those that need a refresher earlier rather than later, with holiday-inspired drinks and $2 oysters straight from Pike Place Market.
Ernest Loves Agnes
The Italian kitchen and pizzeria on Capitol Hill is doing a special Black Friday three-day brunch service from 9am to 3pm this weekend with $7 bottomless mimosas.
Across from the Paramount Theater is Tom Douglas's 1960s- and '70s-inspired room will serve drink specials to groove with the DJ during the Trickbag Record Party, featuring a rotation of 45s "to soothe the soul." The lunch menu includes a section dedicated to turkey, veg-heavy starters, and the regular goodburger.
Charlie's on Broadway
The revered Broadway establishment is reopening on Black Friday so crowds can refuel on classic American comfort food and breakfast dishes that will be served all day until late for those extended hours of shopping.
