The team behind the Hawaiian-Korean curb cuisine at Marination Station, Ma Kai, and the food truck is taking on South Lake Union with a new place called, simply, Marination. Amazon just gave the crew the green light to reveal the news of the upcoming counter service establishment opening mid-December.
All the classic fare offered at the truck, Station, and Ma Kai will be served, plus a handful of new sandwiches and salads. Definitely expect tacos, sliders, and the kimchi fried rice bowl. Beer on tap can't be excluded from the expansion for those after-work libations.
Back in September, the team also opened Super Six in Columbia City—the sixth entity to join the family with an Asian-American influenced menu, but not another outpost serving the beloved food from Big Blue, Ma Kai, or Station. So Marination will be the fourth with the marriage of plates and sides from the adjacent locations.
Say aloha to the new location at 2000 Sixth Avenue, right on the corner of 6th and Virginia.
