Dine Out and Donate
For one day only, Phinney neighborhood restaurants, bars, and coffee shops are donating a portion of their sales to the Phinney Neighborhood Association’s Hot Meal Program. Businesses such as A La Mode Pies, Bluebird Microcreamery, and Naked City Brewery will each give a portion of their takings to the local program, which provides meals for hungry community members three times a week. Dahlia Lounge Hosts an Icelandic Feast
Chef Brock Johnson is collaborating with Icelandic chef Ylfa Helgadóttir to create a prix fixe four-course menu at the Downtown restaurant from Thursday October 8 through Sunday October 11. The $75-per-person dinner will feature dishes such as Icelandic cod with lemon and dill, langoustine risotto, and caramelized white chocolate cream cheese mousse with skyr sorbet. The Icelandic-inspired menu is available only at dinner service; call 206-682-4142 to reserve a spot.

Italian-Chinese Dinner in Fremont
Chefs Olive Huang and Nick Furrow are coming together to host an Italian-Chinese dinner on Saturday at 6pm in Fremont. The five-course dinner combines the two cuisines with dishes such as spaghetti with ground pork and dan dan sauce and drunken chicken with a velvet scallion and ginger dipping sauce. Tickets are $70 and the exact location will not be revealed until the evening of the dinner.

An Incredible Feast Is Back
The Neighborhood Farmers Market Alliance's annual fundraiser returns to Swanson’s Nursery on Sunday at 6pm. The evening will include signature dishes from more than two dozen local chefs, live music, food-themed prizes, and local wine and beer tastings. Proceeds from the event benefit the Good Farmer Fund, an emergency relief program for market farmers. Tickets are $125 but if you buy them at one of the Seattle Neighboorhood Farmers Markets you’ll receive $25 off.

Peat Week at Westland Distillery
After a successful inaugural year, Peat Week returns to Westland Distillery this Monday. The week-long celebration includes tours, tastings, and special events such as a four-course dinner by Jason Wilson of Miller’s Guild on Tuesday. The $135-per-person dinner includes dishes such as scallop crudo, octopus and pork belly, and peated chocolate cake.

Taste of Tulalip Returns
The annual Taste of Tulalip returns for its seventh year on Friday, November 13. The two-day celebration includes demos, chef appearances, tastings, and the always entertaining Rock n' Roll Cooking Challenge where three teams face off in a 30-minute cooking and wine pairing showdown. General admission is $110.
