Westward's Zoi Antonitsas Hosts a Rooftop Dinner
As part of the Women Chefs and Winemakers series from the One Night Only Project, Zoi Antonitsas is cooking a nine-course dinner this Thursday on the rooftop of Premiere on Pine. Dishes include grilled octopus, sea urchin risotto, and grilled tails and trotters pork loin. A selection of wines will be served on the night from local wineries such as Sonoris Wines, Warr-King Wines, and Tildio Winery. Tickets are $150 per person.

Clips Beer and Film Tour Returns
New Belgium Brewing is bringing its annual Clips Beer and Film Tour to Gas Works Park this Friday. The Colorado company will showcase up to 20 short films and will have more than 17 craft beers on tap including the popular New Belgium lines, Fat Tire and Slow Ride IPA. Soak up the booze with bites from Hallava Falafel, Hungry Me, Bread and Circuses, and No Bones About It. Doors open at 8pm and all beer sales go toward local beneficiaries.

Amy Bronee at Book Larder
Author and food blogger of Family Feedbag, Amy Bronee will be at Book Larder on Saturday morning to discuss her new book, The Canning Kitchen. Ideal for people who want to try home preserving, Amy’s latest release includes more than 100 simple small batch recipes. She'll be at the Fremont store from 10am to sign copies and answer any canning questions.
Olympia Brew Fest Returns
Over 30 Northwest breweries are coming to Olympia this Saturday for the annual Olympia Brew Fest. Those in attendance include Seattle based Big Al Brewing, Stoup Brewing, and Reuben’s Brews. Tickets are $25 if you purchase before Thursday July 30, or alternatively it's $30 at the door.

Sustainable Seafood Week Comes to Town
The Northwest leg of the nationwide Sustainable Seafood Week takes place this Monday August 3 through Saturday August 8. The week includes a $85 per person gala at the Seattle Aquarium with dishes prepared by local chefs like Roy Beriman of Cedarbrook Lodge and Jason Wilson of Crush and Miller’s Guild. Throughout the week over 40 restaurants participating in the new Smart Catch program will showcase sustainable seafood with prix fixe menus and special menu items. Be on the look out for the Sustainable Seafood blue popup tents across the city which will have tasty treats, special offers, and information on ocean health.

Aqua by El Gaucho's Hootenanny is Back
The annual summer party returns on Saturday August 8 complete with wine tastings from more than 40 local wineries and signature appetizers that include watermelon and Dungeness crab salad and geoduck sashimi and sea beans.
