How to Cook a Wolf Welcomes Italian Winemakers
Ethan Stowell's Queen Anne restaurant is hosting a dinner with the ladies behind Italian winery Castello di Luzzano Estate. Giovannella Fuggaza and Corinne Gazzola hail from northwest Italy, a region known for varieties like bonarda and barbera. They bring with them a selection of their own bottles to accompany chef Michael Gifford's meal. Dishes include scallop crudo with avocado and shaved fennel, gnocchi and beef cheek bolognese, and chocolate hazelnut terrine with salted caramel gelato.

Meet Your Maker Returns
The third annual Meet Your Maker returns to the Factory Luxe to raise funds for the Washington Distillers Guild. The spirit tasting event features 15 Washington distilleries including 3 Howls Distillery, Captive Spirits Distilling, and Oola Distillery. A must-see at the showcase is the Barbarian Bar Tools Bartender Battle, where local celebrity bartenders compete to make the best cocktail out of a mystery set of ingredients. Other highlights include smoked brisket from Campfire BBQ and a cigar tent featuring local cigar company San Juan Cigars. Tickets are $25.

Salmon Pairings at Ray’s Boathouse and Cafe (May 15–June 15)
To celebrate the return of the Copper River salmon season, Ray’s Boathouse and Cafe is offering a selection of pinot and Copper River salmon pairings in both restaurants until June 15. Pinots on offer include Domaine Drouhin, Shea Wine Cellars, and Domaine Serene.

Tini Bigs Bids Farewell to Mad Men
Toast a farewell to Don, Roger, Joan, and Peggy on Sunday at 9pm, when you can watch the last-ever episode of Mad Men while sipping on $7 cocktails inspired by the show. In true 1960s style, appetizers include deviled eggs, cheesy artichoke dip, shrimp cocktail, and truffle popcorn. No ticket is necessary but get there early to get a good seat.

Eat Run Hope Returns on Sunday June 28
Ethan and Angela Stowell’s family and food event, Eat Run Hope, is back for its fourth year on Sunday, June 28 in the hope of raising funds for The Fetal Health Foundation. A chef-tasting tent filled with local finery from the likes of Revel, Wandering Goose, Macrina Bakery, and Josh Henderson's Huxley Wallace Collective will be on hand to feed your hunger after the 5K fun run. Registration is necessary, and you can customize your day with the option to just run or eat or do both.
