Lost Lake, April 30, be there.

If it’s not on your calendar already, it oughta be: Thursday, April 30, two weeks from today, thousands of restaurants across the country donate a percentage of their earnings to support their local AIDS organization in care, prevention, and other essential services.

In Seattle that organization is the venerable Lifelong, and the number of restaurants participating in the 25-year institution is growing by the day. Most will be donating 30 percent of their day’s proceeds to Lifelong’s programs, but a handful are cranking that up to 50 percent.

At this writing those include Fogon Cocina Mexicana, Lost Lake Cafe and Lounge, McMenamin’s Queen Anne, McMenamin’s Six Arms, Mejari Fusion Sushi, and Witness. Check the above link closer to the date, when more may have jumped on board.
