As reliable as spring training is the annual rollout of new menu items at Safeco Field. Ethan Stowell, a diehard M's fan, has been conceiving menu items for the ballpark since 2011; this year his lineup includes everything from a grilled Dungeness crab sandwich to a bacon-wrapped hot dog and a burger slathered in cream cheese.

The other big concession news this season is the arrival of beers from Pike Brewing (the Ms really do have a great local beer selection) and new non-greasy snacks like a quinoa and kale salad and some vegetarian and gluten-free items at the Natural, a concession at section 132 on the main level. Maybe it really is okay to get excited this year.
