The Mobile Food Rodeo folks have finalized the lineup for this year's taco-centric Cinco de Mayo food truck gathering. The Taco Libre Truck Showdown techncally happens May 2, a Saturday, but why quibble when more than 35 trucks and carts will be lining Fifth Avenue by Union Station?

All the trucks, even those not typically of the Mexican persuasion, will create at least one taco (or "taco-inspired") dish, and sell it for $5 or less. There's no admission for this bevy of trucks, but if you want to hit up the adjacent all-you-can-eat taco bar popup run by the folks from Matador, it's $25 in advance or $35 at the door. Repeat: Three hours of unlimited tacos from 5 to 8pm for $25. Margaritas and cerveza will be available in here to purchase.

Taco Libre also includes performances by mariachi bands and the acrobatic wrestling stylings of Lucha Libre Volcanica, and two beer gardens, to benefit the Chinatown-International District Business Improvement Area.

In its third year, Mobile Food Rodeo's Cinco de Mayo taco spinoff has settled in to its decidedly multicultural location near the Chinatown gate, and added a ton more trucks. Ticket info is on the Moble Food Rodeo website (May 2, 5–11pm, 606 Fifth Ave S), and here's the full lineup.
