So You Don’t Want to Go to a Restaurant on Valentine’s Day

…But you sure don’t want to cook?

By Kathryn Robinson February 5, 2015

This could be your kitchen on Valentine's Day.

We got this.

An outfit called Kitchensurfing, which now includes Seattle among its outposts (including New York, LA, Boston, and Chicago) links hungry romancers like you with its stable of local chefs.

For around $150 a person, one of them will come to your house and prepare a multi-course dinner in your kitchen. Your personal chef will do it all—including shopping and cleaning. Choose from five local chefs whose Seattle Valentine menus are here. They’re on from Thursday, February 12 through Sunday, February 15.

Or gather a large group for a $40 per person charge.
