On Tuesday, November 18, the Westlake Whole Foods resurrects its oyster happy hour—a screaming deal that's actually worth standing in the inevitable long line to attain it.

From 5 to 7pm, freshly shucked Barron Points go for $0.69 apiece. The bar in the front corner of the store does a few beer specials, and you can grab a bottle from the wine section and drink it without a corkage fee.

The combination of labor-intensive oyster shucking and that 69-cent price tag means people start queueing up at 4:30, and the crowds are akin to what might happen if Paseo reopened and dispensed free sandwiches via salmon cannon. So come prepared and bring a friend to lay claim on a table while you wait.

Oyster happy hour will return on the third Tuesday of each month for the duration of oyster season.
