Parfait Goes Brick-and-Mortar
The popular organic ice cream truck Parfait is opening an ice cream patisserie in August on the ubersustainable new mixed-use Greenfire campus. Blind Pig Bistro’s Teriyaki Takeover
Rather than depart Eastlake in search of larger quarters, Blind Pig owners Charles Walpole and Rene Gutierrez are taking over their strip mall neighbor, Eastlake Teriyaki. The teriyaki sign remains, but the gyoza and beef-and-chicken combos will make way for a soup-salad-sandwich lunch menu that shares Blind Pig’s offbeat ethos.

U Village’s Eureka Moment
Families will surely fill the dining room of Eureka, a California-based chainlet of craft burger restaurants, when it opens at the end of the year. We repeat: You can drink Pappy Van Winkle at the mall.

Triumph Bar Isn’t Exactly a Wine Bar…
So say the owners, two brothers and longtime somms opening their own place in Lower Queen Anne. The shareable plates from a veteran of NYC chef David Burke sound awfully promising, too.
